The Rat was one of two main characters, having served in a location that seems to have predated Candy’s Burgers and Fries. During a grand reopening, The Rat appears to reach down to a child that comes up to him, and reach out to the child, much to the distress of the onlooking adults. What happens is left vague, but it is presumed that the child is injured or killed in some way.
At some point after this event, The Rat ends up inside Rowboatics Corp.’s robotics factory. During one of the minigames, he seems to wake up and walk away. Later on, the Tragedy Puppet implies whatever happened to him was it’s fault, but is your problem.
At a further point, The Rat is transported to the actual Candy’s Burgers and Fries location, in which he is kept in the backroom. He becomes active during night 6.
It is suspected that The Rat also murdered a night guard at Candy’s Burgers and Fries during 1993.
In 2007, it seems that The Rat has been moved back to Rowboatics Corp.’s robotics factory yet again, possibly due to the murder of the security guard. When killed by The Rat, it is revealed that both he and The Cat brutally and violently murder the player, compared to the other animatronics who’s killing methods are presumed to be less violent.
The Cat was introduced in Five Nights at Candy’s 2. He seems to have been The Rat’s counterpart, in a location that predates Candy’s Burgers and Fries. The Cat seemed to be functioning normally during The Rat’s breakdown.
Not much is known about The Cat. However, he seems to attack as brutally as Rat does – mauling the player if they are caught.
Vinnie is a counterpart to Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’s Puppet. He appears most prominently in the end-of-night cutscenes for Five Nights at Candy’s 1, but has a small cameo role in the first night of Five Nights at Candy’s 2’s minigames.
Vinnie appears to be seen in multiple locations of the factory at the same time. He appears to an empty machinery area, a machinery area with Candy and Cindy, and a machinery area with Old Candy and Blank at the precise same time.
He appears to have “made a mistake” at some point, which is implied to be related to The Rat.

Lollipop has very little actual relevance to the core Candy’s story. Formerly a toy of Mary Schmidt, Lollipop can be found in various minigames after asking her old toys about him. Lollipop is widely seen as a self-insert character, used to promote Emil’s “Project OPIA” at the end of the third game.
